They're still awesome, though. I want to know the actual legends and stuff behind 'em. Coz whether they're Azulongmon, Baihumon, Ebonwumon, and Zhuqiaomon, or Dragoon, Driger, Draciel, and Dranzer, they fascinate me.

Hrm...Sean, you really like beyblade, no? I guess the dragon kinda symbolises Dragoon, White Tiger Driger, Phoenix Dranzer and Black toroise Draciel. But actually they have something to do with Feng Shui. I just dunno what,. -Runs away to check mom's Feng Shui books-

They auspicious legendary animals of Chinese. Each one of them represents a direction. Green Dragon (Qing Long) represents East, White Tiger (Bai Hu) represents West, Xuan Wu (the animal that looks like a combination of a snake and a tortoise) represents North, Red Phoenix (Zhu Que) represents South. They are said to be the guardian of the directions.

Oh ya, in legends, they are also gods under the Yan Di (the Fire Emperor). I believe their special legends behind make them popular characters to be included in stories, notably in Chinese PC games, and well if you say so, also in anime and manga series.

^^ lol they are japanese gods from Left to Right: dragon is Seiyru, Tiger is Byakko, turtle with serpent Genbu, is actually one god . so they are like connected somehow and the phoenix is Suzaku. xD i like the pic
